This episode really speaks to me. I’ve saved it and will come back to it when I need a reminder to “Let Go and Let God”. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this.
Needless to say I was the jerk who told everyone that Santa Claus doesn’t exist. Having found that out own my own since I was 5 years old, and went around telling everyone including my own daughter when she was 4.
Now, I kind of wish I hadn’t and enjoyed the magic of belief… bursting other people’s bubbles is not enjoyable, but intervening when the time is right seems like a sacred responsibility.
Thanks yet again.
Thanks David
I too am realizing I don’t need to go streaking through the chapel building yelling there’s no Santa Claus. Nor do I need to white knuckle it. Slowly I’m finding my middle ground.
As they say: timing is everything. Gods messages are extremely well timed in my experience.
I loved your message, especially about judging someone to be a goody-goody, when no one really knows their background. And the warning to not enable someone like this stake leader did with his son. I’m afraid my own son could end up a user if I enable. Anyway, just really like listening to you! 🙂
Thanks Kay. Life ain’t easy. But sometimes it ain’t as hard we make it. Good luck with your son. Our paths are set up for our ultimate good!
Please look at the following link https://www.bridgestorecovery.com/blog/dont-hit-rock-bottom-the-value-of-early-mental-health-treatment/. It is unfortunate that someone as wise as Jack has not yet learned the facts on this matter and is spreading harmful information.
